Data Cuisine Workshop Boston

On June 23 and 24, 2016, the Data Cuisine Workshop came to the US for the first time with a debut in Boston. The workshop was organized as part of the Indexical Design Conference by Northeastern’s MFA Information Design and Visualization. Haley House ex-chef Gaitskell Cleghorn Jr. provided the culinary expertise.

The 14 participants focused on issues relevant to Boston, such as pollution, rising water temperature, and local food production and imports.

The final presentation and tasting took place at the Goethe Institute Boston. We would particularly like to thank Dietmar Offenhuber from Northeastern University and Christoph Mücher from Goethe Institute for their hospitality and support, as well as swissnex.
