On November 5-6, 2019, a Data Cuisine workshop took place at ArTeC in Paris, France.
ArTeC or École Universitaire de Recherche is a new research school dedicated to Arts, Digital Humanities and Creation. The school presented itself on two days at the art centre in Enghien-les-Bains, where also our workshop happened.
Together with the students and two of their teachers, we looked at statistics on topics currenty discussed in France such as climate change, domestic violence, or the yellow vest movement.
On the culinary side, we got fantastic support from Lina Caschetto, a Vancouver born and Paris based chef. Eventually, the workshop participants created six dishes which were presented publicly on the last evening.
