Data Cuisine Workshop Basel
In cooperation with HEK Basel, we ran another Data Cuisine Workshop on August 29-30, 2015.
Switzerland provided interesting data sets for expressing local data with local food — with the help of a local chef. In this case, we were exceptionally lucky to be working with the renowned chef Thierry Boillat, Chef de Partie at Restaurant Stucki.
The dishes produced ranged from a pizza visualizing the Swiss energy mix over filled onions representing anonymous internet access through Tor to a dessert with melting ice caps! Thanks to all participants for their crazy ideas and brilliant execution…
